Choosing where to spend the next few years of your life is an important decision. One of the best ways to help you get started is by visiting our Welcome Centre and taking a tour of our campuses.
During your visit you will:
We make every effort to ensure that our tours cover the interests of all our guests.
Tours run for approximately one hour per campus, with additional transit time if travelling between downtown's Sir George Williams and Loyola in Montreal's west-end.
Language of Tours
At Concordia's Welcome Centre we are proud to be a bilingual staff. While general tours are primarily given in English we are more than happy to accomodate our guests by answering questions in their language of preference, either English or French.
Two Campuses, One University
Concordia is a two-campus university, with Sir George Williams located at the heart of downtown Montreal and Loyola 6.5km (approximately 4 miles) to the west. The majority of our programs are offered downtown with an exception of a few housed at Loyola. Weekday tours are offered for both campuses, with Saturday tours focusing on the downtown core. All tours begin and end downtown at the Welcome Centre.
Welcome Centre Location
All tours will begin at the Welcome Centre in the J.W. McConnell Building - also known as the LB or Library Building - on the downtown campus. The Welcome Centre has a dedicated entrance directly off Bishop Street, just south of de Maisonneuve Boulevard.
Library Building Address:
Room number LB-187
1400 Boulevard de Maisonneuve West

For guests arriving by car, parking is available on-campus. The nearest indoor parking garage is located in the Library Building, one building over from the EV. If spaces are unavailable there are options for parking in non-Concordia lots or for street parking.
